Project Management for Non-Project Managers

This two-day seminar will begin by laying the foundation for the subject by first defining what a project is and then discussing the unique roles that the project manager must assume along the length of any project. The Triple Constraint, the most fundamental of project management principles, will be explained in detail with examples and tools provided that can be used to integrate the principle into any project management process.

Safety Management and OSHA Compliance

This course will present safety management guidelines and techniques for the engineering, construction, and scientific professions. This will include costs of preparing the necessary documentation. It will emphasize using multiple techniques for each safety program. It will discuss costs of professional services from consultants. There will be at least one brief exercise that students will conduct on their own with guidance from the Instructor.

Statistics for the Non-Statistician

The course is developed for non-statistician whose roles and responsibilities either require interfacing with statisticians or need to perform basic statistical tasks. Most statistical training focus on the formulas and theory instead of the practical implications of the practice of statistics. This course provides practical industry examples putting context to more complex statistical techniques. Most participants have no previous statistical experience, though have interest in learning about how to apply statistical concepts in their job.
